 | Red Dragon - Hol A Fresh Born Leroy May, 18 March 1966 in Jamaica, Red Dragon was already known as the dj Redman before he changed his name in 1984 because of the success of the "Laughing Dragon" lyric on a dub plate. As with many other djs, he had built up a reputation with sound systems before he recorded his first tunes. At first he wasn't very successful, but this changed completely when he dropped "Hol A Fresh", released on the Techniques label in 1987. This song finally put his name on the reggae map. His single with Flourgon "Sit Dung Pon It" was the first noted clash between brothers. |
