K503 splashes through Tarrytown
CSX Train K503, the welded rail train, has come out of Croton and sloshes its way south through Tarrytown en-route to New Haven, CT. Tonight's consist is GP38-2's 2718 on the point and 2804 trailing with about 30 welded rail cars, an equipment car, a couple of empty flat cars, and a box car. This train is very rare, due to the fact that it only comes down here once or twice a year. This train can be seen sitting in Milford, CT on Industrial 5.
