 | Tabo Monastery - Spiti Valley - India The Tabo Monastery is about 1012 year old and there are two blocks. One is old monastery and other is new monastery. The old monastery is worth seeing and is constructed in old time by local sand and mud and this is still in tact. There are about seven great temples which have separate rooms and entries. Inside the temples there is stunning paintings of Buddhism and are still very clear. The monastery is declared and national heritage by the government of India and photography inside the temples is not allowed. |
