![]() | A Touch of Treason (1962) Title from the spy film also known as Les Ennemis. A very serious look at what happens when somebody breaks into a high security safe in the Russian Embassy in France. Based on the novel by Fred Nord "Un Certain Code". Directed by Edourd Molinaro. Starring Roger Hanin. |
![]() | Passport to Hell (1965) Title from the spy movie also known as Agente 3S3: Passaporto per l'inferno. Very nice little gem. Directed by Sergio Sollima. George Ardisson plays Walter Ross, Agent 3S3. Excellent stuff - one of the films I so much wished I had in a better copy. |
![]() | Mission Bloody Mary (1965) Title from the spy movie with Ken Clark as Agent 077. |
![]() | Operation Poker (1966) Title from the spy film also known as Operazione poker. Directed by Osvaldo Civirani and starring Roger Browne. Civirani later made the acclaimed The Beckett Affair. This one is usually rated a good bit below Beckett Affair. The action takes us to many places like the Riviera, Geneva, Paris and Copenhagen. The visit in Copenhagen plays much like a tourist guide. You have got your little Mermaid, Tivoli (where a spy manages to get himself killed), Amalienborg Castle. As a bonus the climatic shootout takes place in Tuborg Brewery. How can you not like a movie where the villian has an office at the Tuborg Brewery??? |
![]() | Top Secret (1967) Main title from the spy film also known as Segretissimo. Directed by Fernando Cerchio and starring Gordon Scott. We have some valuable lost Nazi documents as the main plotline, which a group of bad guys plans to use for extortion. As they frase it: "secrets you can sell only once but extortion keeps paying". A relaxed and all for the most parts really entertaining genre entry. |
![]() | Short Night of the Glass Dolls (1971) Title from the Giallo also known as La Corta notte delle bambole di vetro. This is an interesting movie. A guy is dead in the morgue. Only he doesn´t see himself as dead - inside he is alive and struggling to remember how he wound up dead. VERY nice ending. Directed by Aldo Lado and starring Jean Sorel and Ingrid Thulin. Music by Ennio Morricone. |
![]() | From The Orient With Fury - Trailer This is the original Theatrical Trailer of the great Bond-Rip-Off "From The Orient With Fury", produced in the swinging sixties. |
![]() | Formula C-12 Beirut (1966) Main title from the spy film also known as Agent 505 - Todesfalle Beirut. Directed by Manfred R. Köhler who also directed Target for Killing. This one stars Frederick Stafford. Stafford is not at all bad as spy film hero - which ofcause Hitchcock also realised since he let him star in Topaz. Soundtrack by Ennio Morricone. |
![]() | Secret Agent Fireball (1965) Main title from the spy film also known as 077: Challenge to Killers. Richard Harrison stars as Bob Fleming in this above average production. Directed by Luciano Martino and cool spy jazz from Carlo Savina. If you decide to see this film then look out for the rare Amphicar police car that Hamburg police drive in this film. See more on http://www.amphicars.com/acee.htm Cool stuff. |
