Title:
San Remo Municipal Museum Museo Civico di Sanremo

Description:
http://www.ilrespirodelgabbiano.com The Museum of San Remo is situated in one of the most important buildings in Western Liguria: the Borea D'Olmo Palace. Built from a late medieval residence, it took its present form between the 17th and 18th Centuries. The noble Borea D'Olmo family still has its residence on the first floor. The palace has had many illustrious guests: Elisabetta Farnese, Queen of Spain (1714), Carlo Emanuele III, King of Sardinia (1746), the painter Jean Honoré Fragonard (1773) and Pope Pius VII, on his way back from his French captivity (1814). One of the most suggestive rooms of this residence is the papal chamber, rich in stuccos and decorations. Its monumental expressions have a rich artistic value: the atrium, the portal enriched with marble statues and the chapel with marble altar.

Lost Worlds: Georgia| Part 6: Ocmulgee Indian Mounds
In America's deep South, in the shadow of the modern metropolis of Atlanta, Georgia lies the remnants of Native American civilizations thousands of years old. Napoleon crownes himself Emperor
Napoleon crowned himself Emperor Napoleon I on 2 December 1804 at Notre Dame de Paris and then crowned Joséphine Empress. Claims he seized the crown out of the hands of Pope Pius VII during the ceremony—to avoid his subjugation to the authority of the pontiff—are apocryphal; the coronation procedure had been agreed in advance.
