Keitai Denjuu Telefang 2 (Power Version) - Intro
A video of the intro of Telefang 2 (Power version). Probably very few of you have ever heard of this game, so let me explain what it is. It's a Japanese-exclusive RPG for the GBA, produced by Smilesoft and published by Natsume. It plays a bit like Pokémon, but you use cellphones in this game. You use them to call other Denjuu (the name of all the monsters) to battle other Denjuu. Nearly all battles are multi-battles (i.e. 2-on-2, 3-on-3, etc.). The GBC prequel is slightly better known because it was infamously bootlegged by someone in China. The bootleg versions of the original Telefang games were badly translated from Japanese to Engrish, had a bunch of glitches (for example, it can't save properly), and were called "Pokémon Diamond" (not to be confused with the Pokémon Diamond for the DS that came out years later) and "Pokémon Jade." These are not actual Pokémon games! This caused a lot of people to have negative impressions on the original GBC games.
Pokefang : Kuripute/Kryptoraid VS Wattson
READ THIS: I've hacked Kuripute in a Pokemon Ruby rom and i've used the bootleg names for some fun XD And i used Silcoon only to heal Kuripute/Kryptoraid.

Keitai Denjuu Telefang - Gipusofi Boss Battle
A boss battle with Gipusofi. The boss is a koala like thing. It isn't too hard to beat, but it's very hard to get to (you have to go through an annoying maze, which interestingly is nothing compared to the mazes in Telefang 2). Also, this isn't the last time you'll fight it; you'll fight it two more times in its evolved form (Gawerk a.k.a. Golaking). Also, I found a way to make the sound more accurate (though if you have seen my recent DKL3 videos, you already know this). Hehe.

Keitai Denjuu Telefang 2 - Rival Battle
A battle in the GBA game Telefang 2. This is one of my first Telefang 2 videos, and hopefully I will have more of them as time goes on. Even though this game was Japanese-exclusive (sadly), you'll see that some of the text is in English. This is because I'm using a patch that is currently in progress. Just note that very little of the dialogue is translated (like in this video). If you want to download the patch yourself (note that this only works in Power version, not Speed), go to this link: http://rapidshare.com/files/90269235/Telefang_2_Power.ips (last updated 2/3/08) UPDATE: Speed patch! Here's a link: http://rapidshare.com/files/82142695/Telefang_2_Speed.ips (last updated 1/7/08) And no, I don't know what the Japanese text says. I can't read Japanese. As for the battle itself, this was long because one of the rival's Denjuu was a pain in the neck to defeat. Two of them are easy, but Doon isn't. It takes a long time to whittle down his HP, and when it does, the T-Fanger (which is the Telefang equivalent of a trainer) just uses items to heal it (which, by the way, is one of the most annoying things in recent Pokémon games). Of course, to be able to beat him I used Electric Attacks which are powerful but have limited use. I SHOULD have used this halfway during the battle... oh well. I know for next time, I guess...
