Japan is hosting a belly button festival in Shibukawa. People say the belly button is the most important part of the body, and Shibukawa is often referred to as the belly button of Japan. Thousands of people participate in the festival, many from around the world.

Faces are painted on to stomachs so that the belly button becomes the mouth of the face. People hide their heads with large hats, and kimonos are worn around the waste with fake hands sticking out. Yahoo has a great video, to see it, click here.
