![]() | Zhang He: DW5 XL Chaos Mode: Battle of Chen Cang PART1 Im showing nothing new in this video for Zhang He. The only thing I get to do is to show this 5-star stage, unique only to Zhang He. It can be quite a challenging stage if you are using only 3rd weapons, because of all those archers. But sadly you have to play as 2nd player, and would probably want to have a big screen TV, unlike mine... I still have the Dragon Amulet equipped. I swapped the Ice Orb for the Fire Orb. He's better against officers, but then he can't have double damage with his true musou in musou rages, but ya...you can see that its no big deal. Those wings look pretty kool on him Wow, this stage is more fun than I thought...and harder than I thought. This was the first recording of it, and I wanted to aim for untouched...before I saw all those archer crowds.... geez...it's not too hard for someone who's quick like Zhang He. Gan Ning would own this stage. Wow, I havent played with a 4th weapon for so long...there are so many peons in this stage too, which in many ways make its it easier, because of musou rages. |

![]() | Zhang He: Warriors Orochi Chaos Mode Solo Run Warriors Orochi Chaos Mode Zhang He SW 8-X, Wei 5-X ----- ABILITIES: Speed Boost Potence Impulse Fortitude Vitality Adrenalin WEAPON: Flash Slay Might Brave Bolt Multi Air Agility ----- Zhang He's overall effectiveness is close to Sima Yi's and would be one of worst in the game. But unlike Sima Yi, Zhang He has a bit more variety, and thus combat versatility. Zhang He can do three things for maximized gameplay: 1) C2, C2 2) C3, C2 3) C4, C2 Just basically one of three charge attacks followed by a C2. C2, C2 would be the fastest offense, but only kills generics officers, as the second C2 misses with Multi because the officer is at a high height. Purposely waiting might work, but this has defensive risks as it'll allow officers to jump charge. The second offense, C3 to C2, will work against Kotaro and other stronger type officers because Multi will connect on both charge attacks. Although in the video...this is actually the first time it didn't kill Kotaro....But you can see that he was one scratch away from being defeated. This offense is also a bit safer than the two C2 offense. C4 to C2 offense then would be on the other end of the spectrum, where offensive limitations exist and can get somewhat severe, but it is the most defensive. The offensive limitation is that he has to time it so that he hits officers at the end of C4. This is similar to the many other charge attacks that are too fast for Multi to connect properly. This method of offense is the safest of course because of the distance he covers with C4. This C4 to C2 offense is a very good method for dealing with officers in massive crowds, like double defense Lu Bu, in this video. A want to discuss a relatively sophisticated offense for Zhang He. This offense would really only be applicable for double defense Lu Bu though. Since it is very difficult to control, I try to show it a few times in this video. This offense is shown against Sadaoki Ise. After using his JC against an officer when the officer is high into the air (must be high in the air), Zhang He can catch up to the officer with a DirR1 after the JC, and then follow up with further attacks. The reason why officers need to be high in the air is because DirR1 simply isn't fast enough if officers are too low to begin with. This means you can't set this offense up with an R1, which would turn out to be R1 to JC to DirR1 to C2. This offense is good because it will isolate officers for a safe C2. The reason why it is only applicable to Lu Bu or Orochi or just really strong opponents, is because officers need to be at a high height for it to work, and this means it needs a C2 to precede it, and preferrably C4 before this C2! Anyhow, given all this theory now, there is a single chained offense that will defeat double defense Lu Bu: C4 to C2 to C2, then JC to DirR1, then finish off with two C2's. There would be a special case though, which is even more challenging. As shown against Morishige Tsuchihashi, if the DirR1 after the JC hits the officer, then it could be possible to follow up with a C2 (even my C2 missed). But obviously, using the DirR1 to catch up to officers is much easier than pinpointing it to hit officers, which is why I consider this offense not too possible when JC is done on an officer at a low height in the air. Taking this further, if mastered, the following combo can be chained together: C2 to R1 to JC to DirR1, and repeat. So there's a detailed description for a somewhat insignificant offense, lol. ----- AUDIO: Warriors Orochi - Fusion!!! Dynasty Warriors 5 - The Blossoming Season |
