"Disco Kicks" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Boystown Gang
Bill Motley brought the resurgence of disco to life in 1981 when no one believed it was possible. One of his first being "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"/"Remember Me" Medley from the Boystown Gang's first LP which featured Cynthia Manley on lead vocals. On his follow up project he broke down the concept with more of a high energy feel - focusing on a few covers from soul to classic easy listening songs to "Disco Kicks" (which was originally recorded by The Original Mass). This track pumped over and over and kept dance floors jumping all over again. It was pure excitement. I have taken Motley simple production and broke it into many pieces and then placed it together in this ReStructure Mix - it has a new flavor and arrangement. This one is dedicated to all of the die-hard high energy disco lovers who just can't get enough "kicks"!
"Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" by Boys Town Gang -- Video Mi
Irvin Kershner's suspense film, "Eye's Of Laura Mars" hit theatres in 1978 -- it was a very nice combination of mystery, suspense, drama and some great disco music. The soundtrack featured Michael Zager Band's "Let's All Chant", Odyssey's "Native New Yorker" and KC and The Sunshine Band's "Shake Your Booty." Visions of the film are expressed in this Video Mix with a completely new edge. Boys Town Gang's disco classic, "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" from 1981project produced by Bill Motley and sung by Jackson Moore. This music was geared to bring back a high-energy disco sound, which was lacking on major labels following the disco fade of the early 80's. This is a simple, yet effective result. The bizarre theme of "Laura Mars" is put more delicately to Boys Town Gang's dance floor track with a bit more of Faye Dunaway's magic presence. It may seem a bit odd but if you think carefully about the story for those who have seen it and understand the meaning, know that it is along the same parallel. Dedicated to Cynthia Manley and her wonderful talent, which she continues to share with so many with a great heart and attitude. Featuring scenes from "Eyes Of Laura Mars" -- RENT THE DVD! "Remember Me" by Cynthia Manley - Video Mix
From the 1981 LP "Boys Town Gang" featuring Cynthia Manley on lead vocals is the classic-disco track, "Medley:' Remember Me'/'Ain't No Mountain High Enough'". Bill Motley whom was determined to bring back disco to the 80's with great success produced this track. I have removed the track, "Remember Me" from the medley and created a stand alone hit and worked closely with Cynthia Manley along with Gary Rader (www.raderfilms.com) and my partner and producer, Ken Emmons to create an emotional and refreshing video. The video was shot here in San Diego at Presidio Park and features some beautiful shots of the Junípero Serra Museum. The interior club shots were shot on March 8th at Dream Lounge -- thanks to Rick Shezoray, Johnny Valentino, George Flashback, Al "Liquid" Sky and Tommy Arenas of "Back To Disco" (http://www.backtodisco.com) who allowed us to utilize their club for these shots. If you are in the Los Angeles area, I urge you to check out this club! Shot on March 22, 2008 (see photos) along with Gary Rader on cameras, Anthony Gioffre as grip and Nancy Raye as assistant to Cynthia. Thanks to Ken Emmons for allowing me the time and love -- Cynthia Manley for her talent and friendship -- Gary Rader for his talent and great assistance -- Anthony Gioffre, Nancy Raye and the guys from Back To Disco.com Video directed by Glenn Rivera Produced by Ken Emmons Videography by Gary Rader

Tuesday on my mind
Video clip features Tuesday with Elvis, Hope Lange, ( unknown? ), Steve McQueen, Roddy McDowall, Dwayne Hickman, Fabian, ( unknown? ), Dobie Gillis (Dwayne). Background & family info courtesy of Wikipedia: Tuesday Weld was born Susan Ker Weld in New York City on 27 August, 1943. Her father, Lathrop Motley Weld, was a member of the Weld Family of Massachusetts; he died in 1947, shortly before her fourth birthday. Her mother was Weld's fourth and final wife, the former Yosene Balfour Ker, the daughter of the artist and Life illustrator William Balfour Ker. She is one of three full siblings, the other two being Sarah King Weld (born 1935) and David Balfour Weld (born 1937). She also had two half-siblings by her father's first marriage to Dorothy Livermore Wells: Lothrop Motley Weld Jr. (born 1922) and Thomas Livermore Weld (1926-1999). Her paternal grandfather, Edward Motley Weld, was a noted sportsman and former president of the New York Cotton Exchange. Her maternal great-grandmother, Lily Florence (Bell) Ker, was a first cousin of Alexander Graham Bell. Through her father, she is a third cousin of William Weld, the former Governor of Massachusetts and is more distantly related to former U.S. presidential candidate John Kerry, U.S. vice president Henry A. Wallace, actress Dina Merrill, British aristocrat Viscountess Linley, composer Charles Ives, actor Clint Eastwood, actor Anthony Perkins, and Charles J. Guiteau, who assassinated President James A. Garfield. Personal life: Tuesday has been married to: 1.) Screenwriter Claude Harz, whom she married in 1965 and divorced in 1971; they had a daughter, Natasha, in 1966. Of the marriage, Weld told Guy Flatley of The New York Times in 1971, "Mama hated my husband --- she's a jealous lover, you know. She's hated all the men I've ever been involved with. But I really felt that what I had been doing up to that time with my life was probably wrong, that maybe what I should be was a housewife. Our marriage lasted 5 years; it was just another one of my mistakes." 2.) British comedian and actor Dudley Moore, whom she married in 1975 and divorced in 1980. In 1976 they had a son, Patrick, an actor, director, and editor. 3.) Israeli concert violinist and conductor Pinchas Zukerman, whom she married in 1985; they divorced in 1998. For Tuesday's career & filmography info, see Wikipedia. Backing track: "Wild In The Country" (01:52) written by H. Peretti, L. Creatore, G. Weiss; sung by Elvis Presley; guitar by Scotty Moore? A version of "Wild In The Country" featuring maracas overdubbed in post production by Boots Randolph was released in Europe by chance on the ELVIS FOR EVERYONE album. Vaughan Williams: A Sea Symphony (The Waves)
For higher video quality and stereo audio, type &fmt=18 at the end of the url of the video and watch in full screen The first works of Vaugham Williams proclaimed that a new wind was blowing through the English musical renaissance, whose moving spirits had been Parry, Stanford and, towering above them, Elgar. The "Sea Symphony" contains choral settings of words by Walt Whitman and had its' first performance at Leeds Festival. The Scherzo, has the poetic title "The Waves". Here are the lyrics: After the sea-ship, After the whistling winds, After the white-gray sails Taut to their spars and ropes, below, a myriad, myriad waves hastening, lifting up their necks, tending in ceaseless flow toward the track of the ship, waves of the ocean, bubbling and gurgling, blithely prying, waves, undulating waves, liquid, uneven, emulous waves, toward that whirling current, laughing and buoyant with curves, where the great vessel sailing and tracking displaced the surface, larger and smaller waves in the spread of the ocean yearnfully flowing, the wake of the sea-ship after she passes, flashing and frolicsome under the sun, A motley procession with many a fleck of foam and many fragments, following the stately and rapid ship, in the wake following. The Bill Gazzarri Memorial: Part 1
This never before seen footage was shot March 13th, 1991 at the original Gazzarri's location where the Key Club now stands. It was hosted by actor Dennis Cole, who was once married to actress Jaclyn Smith. The key note speaker for this event was Edward James Olmos. In attendance were hundreds of friends and fans along with the father of David Lee Roth, Guns n' Roses singer Axl Rose, Motley Crue singer Vince Neil, adult film actor Ron Jeremy and former Miss Gazzarri Kim Schreyer to name just a few. The entire service was captured on video that day, so there will be more clips posted in the future. Bill's famed white Fedora hat was on display at the speakers podium and currently resides in the possession of the Godson of Rock n' Roll Al Bowman at his business office. This footage was shot by Bob Lee from rle.com and was posted by Max Worthington.
