(Redirected from Water Wisteria)
''
Hygrophila difformis'' can be found growing creeping or erect in marshy habitats in southern Asia, and is commonly available as ''Water Wisteria''. It also was once called ''Synnema triflorum'' in the trade. Due to its unchallenging nature, ''H. difformis'' is a textbook species for the planted aquarium novice. This plant is beautiful and undemanding. It's rapid growth helps prevent algae because the plant absorbs a great number of nutrients from the water. It has a height of 20-50 cm and has a width of 15 to 25 cm.
