'Farm to Market Road 1472' or FM 1472 is a Farm to Market Road that connects the Laredo, Texas Industrial Area to Colombia-Solidarity International Bridge. A portion of its highway designation was changed from Farm to Market Road 1472 to Urban Road 1472 in 1995 by the Texas Department of Transportation because the Northwestern area of Laredo grew and it required more lanes to alleviate commercial traffic in the area. It is a 6 lane divided highway now. The Urban Road portion is known as Mines Road in Laredo, Texas.
