UMAR IBN SA'AD
'Umar ibn Sa'ad' or 'Amir ibn Sad' (), (fl.620-680) was the son of Sa'ad ibn Abi Waqqas. A clergyman and governor of Ray city, he was pressured by Ibn Ziyad to command the troops that killed Husain ibn Ali in the Battle of Karbala.
