ULLENSAKER


'Ullensaker' is a municipality in the county of Akershus, Norway. It has a population of approximately 26 000 inhabitants. It has common borders with Eidsvoll to the north, Nes to the east, Sørum to the south and Gjerdrum and Nannestad to the west.

Ullensaker has had a relatively constant population increase the last 50 years. This increase has accelerated somewhat the last few years. From the year 2000 to 2007, the population of Ullensaker increased by almost 6 000 people.

Raknehaugen - Northern Europe largest tumulus

Trandumskogen - A memorial area where 173 norwegians, 15 sovjet citizens og 6 brits were executed by the germans during world war II.

Gardermoen culturpark - An area close to Gardermoen flyplass, where amongst others the norwegian armys airplane collection and the SAS museum are located
