'Tyumen Oblast' (, ''Tyumenskaya oblast'') is a
federal subject of
Russia (an
oblast). Its administrative center is the
city of
Tyumen. It has administrative jurisdiction over two
autonomous okrugs,
Khantia-Mansia and
Yamalia. Tyumen is the largest city, with over half a million inhabitants.
