TUX ALPS

The 'Tux Alps' (German: ''Tuxer Alpen'') are a small mountain range of the Alps in Austria. The range is named after the Tux Valley, a side valley of the Ziller Valley. It is part of the Central Eastern Alps.
The range is bounded by the Inn valley to the north (separating it from the Karwendel); the lower Ziller valley to the east (separating it from the Kitzbühel Alps); the Tuxerjoch pass and the Tux Valley to the south (separating it from the Zillertal Alps); the Wipptal to the west (separating it from the Stubai Alps).
The highest peak of the Tux Alps is the Lizumer Reckner, elevation 2886 metres.
