The 'Tuva Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic' ('Tuva ASSR') was an autonomous republic of the Soviet Union. It was created 1961-10-10 from the Tuvan Autonomous Oblast and on 1992-03-31 the Tuva Republic became a constituent member of the Russian Federation.
