'Tullyhogue' (''Tulach Óg'', Hill of Youth, in
Irish) is a small
village in
County Tyrone,
Northern Ireland about three kilometres south of
Cookstown.
The village is small and has considerable character. It provides a range of local services and community facilities. Tullaghoge Fort, which is a monument in state care, dominates the setting of the village.
History
Tullyhogue Fort was the crowning place of the kings of
Ulster until the
Flight of the Earls in
1603.
