'Tsukubamirai' (Japanese: つくばみらい市; -shi) is a city located in Ibaraki, Japan. The city was formed on March 27, 2006 from the merger of the town of Ina and the neighboring village of Yawara.
As of May 1, 2006 population data, the city has an estimated population of 41,384 and the density of 523 persons per km². The total area is 79.14 km².
