TI-GRACE ATKINSON
'Ti-Grace Atkinson' (born 9 November 1938, Baton Rouge, Louisiana as 'Grace Atkinson') is an American feminist author.[1]
Atkinson was born into a prominent Louisiana family. From 1956 until 1961 she was married to a high-school boyfriend.[2]

She joined the National Organization for Women, became its New York chapter's president in 1967[3], then in 1968 left[4] and founded The Feminists, a radical feminist group active until 1973. By 1971 she had written several pamphlets on feminism, was a member of the Daughters of Bilitis and was advocating specifically political lesbianism.[5] Her most famous book, ''Amazon Odyssey'' was published in 1974.[6]
