SUNEXPRESS
'SunExpress' (Turkish: ''Güneş Ekspres Havacılık A.Ş.)'' is an airline based in Antalya, Turkey. It operates scheduled and charter flights to destinations in Europe. Its main base is Antalya International Airport (AYT).

History
The airline was established in October 1989. It started operations in April 1990 with a charter service between Antalya and Frankfurt, Germany. SunExpress was founded as a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa. In 1995 Lufthansa transferred its SunExpress shares to Condor Airlines, to group all tourist flights under a single unit. In February 2007 Thomas Cook shares were retaken by Lufthansa. The owners of SunExpress: 50% Turkish Airlines, 50% Lufthansa. SunExpress carried just over 2.358 million passengers in 2006. SunExpress is the only airline in Turkey that is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS certified.

The SunExpress fleet consists of the following aircraft (at September 2006):
★ 10 Boeing 737-800 TC-SUG, TC-SUH, TC-SUI, TC-SUJ, TC-SUL, TC-SUM, TC-SUO, TC-SUU, TC-SUV, TC-SUY
★ 4 Boeing 757-200 TC-SNA, TC-SNB, TC-SNC, TC-SND.
A total of 17 aircrafts planned for 2008, 3 Boeing 757-200, 14 Boeing 737-800. (TC-SNA will be delivered back).
All aircraft are fitted with winglets.
SunExpress average fleet age is 6.4 years (July 2006).
