STEPHEN LANDER
'Sir Stephen Lander', KCB (b. 1947) is the chair of the United Kingdom's Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA).[1] He served as director-general (DG) of the British Security Service (MI5) from 1996 to 2002.
He attended Bishop's Stortford College and Cambridge University, where he earned a doctorate in history. After three years at the Institute of Historical Research (University of London), he joined MI5 in 1975.[1]
