'Stanisław "Rewera" Potocki' (1579-1667) was a Polish noble, magnate and military leader.
Son of Rotmistrz Andrzej Potocki and Zofia Piasecka. Father of Hetman Feliks Kazimierz Potocki and Hetman Andrzej Potocki. Married to Zofia Kalinowska since the 17th century and Anna Mohyła since c. 1658-1661.
He was podkomorzy of Podolia since 1621, castellan of Kamieniec Podolski since 1628, voivod of Bracław Voivodship since 1631 and Podole Voivodship since 1636.
Field Crown Hetman since 1652, Great Crown Hetman since 1654, voivod of Kijów Voivodship since 1655, voivode of Kraków Voivodship since 1658.
Starost of Halicz, Radom, Krasnystaw, Ropczyce, Medyce, Bar, Grodziec, Kołomyja, Mościsk, Drahimów, Latyczów and Dolina.
He fought inter alia in the Battle of Cecora in 1620 and the Battle of Chocim in 1621. He defeated the Cossack and Russian army at the Battle of Omatów in 1665. During "The Deluge" he surrendered to Swedish troops, then joined the Tyszowce Confederation and fought on the side of King Jan II Kazimierz against Sweden.
In 1660 together with Hetman Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski, he stopped Russian army of V.B. Shriemietiev and forced to surrender at Cudnow.
From 1665 to 1666 he fought on the side of the King, against the Lubomirski Rokosz.
