'Spanish' is a
town in the
Canadian province of
Ontario, located in the
Algoma District near the border of the
Sudbury District.
The town had a population of 728 in the
Canada 2006 Census. Formerly known as the township of 'Shedden', the municipality adopted its current name in 2004 after the name of its largest community.
