SINGING A SONG IN THE MORNING

"'Singing A Song In The Morning'" was the first Kevin Ayers single, released three months after his debut solo LP ''Joy of a Toy''. It did not feature on the album. The song was originally recorded with Syd Barrett on guitar and backing vocals although his contributions were edited out of this release, only re-appearing on a 2006 reissue of the LP. 'Eleanor’s Cake (Which Ate Her)' was taken from the ''Joy of a Toy'' album and is considered a classic Ayers recording.
