Charles married Helen Jane Ross on 31 July 1999, in London. Helen was born in Huddersfield on March 3 1969. She is an artist.
Charles and Helen Ambler have two children:

★ India Tani Ambler (born 2003, Northamptonshire)
As a descendant of Queen Victoria, through her granddaughter Princess Margaret of Connaught, daughter of her third son Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught, Charles Ambler is 186th in line for the British throne.
