SERRAVALLE SESIA

'Serravalle Sesia' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km northeast of Turin and about 40 km north of Vercelli. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,031 and an area of 20.4 km².^[1]
The municipality of Serravalle Sesia contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bornate, Gattera, Piane Sesia, and Vintebbio.
Serravalle Sesia borders the following municipalities: Borgosesia, Crevacuore, Gattinara, Grignasco, Guardabosone, Lozzolo, Prato Sesia, Romagnano Sesia, and Sostegno.
