The 'State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu' (SIPCOT), Limited is an institution owned by the Tamil Nadu and is intended as a catalyst for the development of small, medium and large scale industries in Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1972.
SIPCOT has established industrial complexes in 14 areas, according to the SIPCOT webpage. These include Tuticorin, Cuddalore, Siruseri.
