RUSSIAN CONSTITUTIONAL REFERENDUM, 1993


A 'referendum' was held in Russia on 12 December, 1993. It was initiated by President Boris Yeltsin after the fall of the Supreme Soviet. Yeltsin aim was to enhance Presidential powers with a new Constitution.
