RICK MANNING


'Richard Eugene Manning' (born September 2 1954 in Niagara Falls, New York) is a former center fielder in Major League Baseball who played from 1975-1987 on the Cleveland Indians (1975-1983) and Milwaukee Brewers (1983-1987). He won the American League Gold Glove Award in 1976. One of the highlights of his career came on May 15, 1981, when Manning caught the final out in Len Barker's perfect game.
He currently broadcasts games for the Indians on WKYC-TV and on SportsTime Ohio. He currently resides in Chesterland, Ohio. He is sometimes also seen doing broadcasts for ''MLB on FOX''.
