RETRO TELEVISION NETWORK

The 'Retro Television Network' is Equity Media Holdings Corp's system of television stations primarily airing classic television programming from the 1950s through the 1980s. Schedules for some markets are customized to avoid conflicts for series with an existing station with a contract to air a program in that market [1].

According to a RTN/Equity Broadcasting press release, RTN planned to make the service available nationwide on July 7, 2007, following a deal that gives RTN access to the CBS Television Distribution library of classic programs. However, the company's website now states the launch will be in Fall 2007. Though a few new affiliates have been added, no major cable or satellite distribution deals have been struck.
