Joe Boulis's band's Keyboard player came out to help get me started. I was still a little "green" and he showed me a lot of riffs, rolls and techniques that I still use today. While there have been several other members, for this even they had: Drummers: Joe Boulis & Dave Burry Sax Player: Billy Smith Me and Rick on keys Buddy Holly: Jim Henesey (Reg was a part of the Raven's back in the 60's) Roy Orbison: Reg Ivany Elvis; Gord Tracy and as always, Bass: Bob Battiste Lead Guitar: Butch Skinner sadly, Jim Henesey, Bob Battiste, and Joe Boulis have passed away since this video was filmed. Also passed away: Dave "Nipper" Parsons (the main drummer when they were at their peak) Roger Skinner: Drummer who was also with them a long time (also Lew's Brother) Roger was a Big supporter of the Music Industry in Newfoundland throughout his career. |
