The '"Tito Minniti" Reggio Calabria Airport' , also known as 'Aeroporto dello Stretto' (Airport of the Strait) is an airport located near Reggio Calabria, Italy. Its IATA airport code REG is derived from Reggio Calabria, Calabria's main city, which the airport is closest to.
The airport was named after Italian Air Force war-hero ''Tito Minniti'' who was born in Reggio Calabria.
It serves mainly the Province of Reggio Calabria and the Province of Messina, and partially the Province of Vibo Valentia; more than 1,200,000 people.

:A bus service called ''"Volobus"'' connects the airport of Reggio with Messina in about an hour and on time with all flights;

★ With ''Locride Area'' and with ''Grecanic Area'':
:A bus service called ''"Jonica Line"'' connects ''Caulonia Marina'' with the airport on time with all flights.

:soon it will be available a new highway exit connected directly to the airport between Arangea and Ravagnese exits; an hydrofoil wharf will connect the airport to Messina, the Aeolian Islands and Taormina; from 2007 it should be available the new ''"Reggio Calabria light rail"'' (connecting the coastal towns of Melito Porto Salvo, Reggio Calabria and Villa San Giovanni to the airport) operated by the National Railway with the "RC Aeroporto" station will make easier the rail connections with the airport.
