According to the United States Census Bureau, the plantation has a total area of 154.3 km² (59.6 mi²). 153.7 km² (59.4 mi²) of it is land and 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²) of it (0.35%) is water.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 207 people, 74 households, and 58 families residing in the plantation. The population density was 1.3/km² (3.5/mi²). There were 108 housing units at an average density of 0.7/km² (1.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the plantation was 96.14% White, 1.93% Asian, and 1.93% from two or more races.
There were 74 households out of which 29.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.5% were married couples living together, 10.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.3% were non-families. 16.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.80 and the average family size was 3.03.
In the plantation the population was spread out with 25.6% under the age of 18, 3.4% from 18 to 24, 26.6% from 25 to 44, 29.5% from 45 to 64, and 15.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 91.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.5 males.
The median income for a household in the plantation was $21,979, and the median income for a family was $24,375. Males had a median income of $38,500 versus $15,313 for females. The per capita income for the plantation was $10,155. About 16.4% of families and 16.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 14.7% of those under the age of eighteen and 11.1% of those sixty five or over.
