RAVENSWORTH

'Ravensworth' is a village and civil parish in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England. Alternative names for the village which have fallen out of use include Ravenswathe, Kirkby Ravensworth and Ravenswath.
The village is notable for the remains there of a 14th century castle once lived in by the Fitzhugh family before it was abandoned in the 16th century.
