'Qa'em Shahr' (), also spelt 'Qâemŝahr' or 'Ghaemshahr', is a city in the Mazandaran province of Iran. Originally known as '`Aliyabad', the name 'Ŝâhi' (Shâhi) was used until the Iranian Revolution in 1979 when the city acquired it's current name.
It is situated 237 km north-east of Tehran; 20 km south-east of Babol; 23 kilometres south west of Sari which is the capital of Mazandaran province. In 1951 Qa'em Shahr's population was around 18,000, growing to 123,684 in 1991.
