'Prince or Infante Ferdinando Pius (or Pio) Maria' (
25 July 1869-
7 January 1960) was Duke of Calabria in succession of
Prince Alfonso, Count of Caserta (
1841-
1934) and following his death in
1960, he was succeeded by his nephew,
Infante Alfonso, while the headship of the house of the
Two Sicilies became disputed between Infante Alfonso and
Prince Ranieri, Duke of Castro. Prince Ferdinando married Princess Maria Ludwiga Theresia, daughter of King
Ludwig III of Bavaria on
31 May 1897 and this marriage had six issue
