PRINCE AIMONE, DUKE OF APULIA

'Prince Aimone of Savoy, Duke of Apulia' (Aimone Umberto Emanuele Filiberto Luigi Amadeo Gustavo Elena Maria Fiorenzo of Savoy) (born 13 October, 1967) is the second child and only son of Amedeo, 5th Duke of Aosta and his former wife, Princess Claude of Orléans.
Aimone attended the Francesco Morosini Naval College and Bocconi University. After he completed his education, Aimone worked at JPMorgan Chase in the United Kingdom. He also served a period in the Italian Navy. Since 2000, Aimone has lived in Russia where he works for the Italian company Pirelli.
Aimone is engaged to Princess Olga of Greece and Denmark, daughter of Prince Michael of Greece and Denmark. The engagement was announced in May 2005. The wedding date had been variously reported as 1 and 8 October, 2005, and more recently had been reported as being set for 9 October 2005 on the Isle of Patmos, but is still unconfirmed as of October 2006. A still later report from a correspondent is to the effect that the wedding has been postponed to 2007. Also, Aimone, in an interview with the Italian daily ''La Stampa'' on 8 Jul 2006, stated that he and his fiancée intend to marry in 2007. However, no specific date has been made public.
