POPE LEO VI
'Leo VI', a Roman, succeeded Pope John X (914–928) as Pope in 928. He reigned a little over seven months; the exact dates are not known. He was succeeded by Pope Stephen VII (928–931). Leo VI was son of the primicerius Cristopher and held the title of Cardinal-Priest of St. Susanna before being elected Pope. He was one of the fez Popes not to have his name changed on his accession.
