PARNAWA VOIVODESHIP

The 'Parnawa Voivodeship' () was a unit of administrative division and local government in the Duchy of Livonia, part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, since it was formed in 1598 till the Swedish conquest of Livonia in the 1620s.
The seat of the voivode was Parnawa (Pärnu). Voivodes of Parnawa include Piotr Tryzna (1628-1633), Konstanty Połubiński (1633-1640), Ernest Magnus Denhoff (XII 1640-VI 1642), Jan Zawadzki (1642-1645), Jerzy Littawor Chreptowicz (1645-1646), and Henryk Denhoff (XI 1646-1659).
