'Owen Hill' is an American writer and poet who lives in
Berkeley, California.
He is the author of seven collections of poetry and ''Loose Ends'', a book of short stories. His first novel, ''The Chandler Apartments'' was called one of the best mysteries of 2002 by the ''
Chicago Tribune''. In his ''Tribune'' review

The Chandler Building, at which Hill resided while writing the book.
