OCEANS OF FUN


'Oceans of Fun' is a tropically-themed water park that opened on May 31, 1982 in Kansas City, Missouri to celebrate Worlds of Fun's 10th year anniversary. At the time it was opened it was the largest water park in the world. It is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Co. Oceans of Fun is adjacent to the Worlds of Fun amusement park.

Oceans of Fun has four restaurants with varying menus (including burgers, pizza, and Sub sandwiches) located throughout the park. There are also other food locations with funnel cakes, Dippin' Dots, Pretzels, and Ice cream novelties. There is also an adult pool with a wonderful swim-up full-service bar. OOF does offer picnic areas, and with a small additional cost any sized group can eat a catered BBQ meal served on weekends. OOF also offers Locker and Tube Rentals. Access to Worlds of Fun (WOF) is through the Ride and slide gate, purchase of a Ride and Slide Pass is required. First Aid is located near the Surf City Wave Pool.
