OAKDALE, TEXAS

'Oakdale' is a fictional city in Texas featured on the television series ''Wishbone''. It is the place where Wishbone, a dog, lives with his owner, Joe Talbot. All the show's primary characters live within Oakdale and most of the "real world" action takes place there. Many of the show's exterior shots for the town were taken in Allen, Texas and Plano, Texas. The shots of Oakdale on the show imply that the city is not very large with no skyscrapers.
