'Notre Dame High School' is a
private,
Roman Catholic high school in
Lawrence, Massachusetts. It is located in the
Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston.
Background
Notre Dame High School is part of the
Cristo Rey Network of high schools, the original being
Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in
Chicago.
The school opened in 2004 with a freshmen class of 80 students. Each consecutive year following introduced a new set of freshmen while the inaugural class pushed forward as the school's first set of sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The first class of now 60 students is set to graduate June of 2008. The school has a program called the corporate intership program (CIP). This program requires students to work once a week, the students only have 4 days of school and 1 day of work.
