NATIONAL OPTICAL ASTRONOMY OBSERVATORY

The United States 'National Optical Astronomy Observatory' ('NOAO') consists of three observatories under one management structure:

★ Kitt Peak National Observatory

★ Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory

★ National Solar Observatory
It is run by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA), with a cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation (NSF). NOAO has its headquarters in Tucson, AZ.
