Outdoor productions

The park features an amphitheater that is home to the long-running outdoor musical, ''Stephen Foster — The Musical'', which is staged each night except Monday during the summer. For the first time in 2007, the musical will share the facility with a production of ''Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,'' which will be staged on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights in July and September, alternating with ''Stephen Foster.'' In addition, the amphitheater will host Monday-night concerts by B.J. Thomas, Billy Joe Royal, Steve Holy, Darryl Worley, The Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra, and ''1964 - The Tribute,'' a musical tribute to The Beatles.

Other park facilities

The park also features an 18-hole golf course and a 39-site campground.
