★ (historical) the race native to East Asia (later also Mongoloid)
Also, the terms "mongoloid" and "mongolism" were once used to describe, respectively, individuals with Down's syndrome and the syndrome itself. These terms are nowadays generally considered pejorative and inappropriate.
