'Mike Goldberg' (born
November 24 ,
1964) is an American
sportscaster.
Broadcasting career
He is best known as the
play-by-play announcer for the
Ultimate Fighting Championship, a high-profile
mixed martial arts event. His voice is heard on
pay-per-views and shows on
Fox Sports Net and
Spike TV.
Goldberg is also the studio host for
college football telecasts on FSN. Most games involve teams in the
Big 12 and
Pacific 10 conferences.
In 2005, Goldberg was offered a contract to work for
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), to be the head announcer on the WWE's flagship show
RAW.
[1] He was also reportedly offered an extra 6 figure amount to no-show at a UFC event prior to starting work for
WWE.
[2] Ultimately Goldberg refused the WWE contract and signed a new deal with the
UFC.
He is the former TV play-by-play announcer for the
Minnesota Wild and the
Tampa Bay Lightning
Goldberg is the announcer for the Lingerie Bowl.
Goldberg also does play-by-play commentary for FSN's broadcasts of the
Red Bull Air Race World Series.
Personal life
Mike and wife his Kim have two children, a 9 year old daughter Kiarra and a year old son Kole. Goldberg is based in
Atlanta, Georgia.

Grew up in North Olmsted, OH with one brother, Todd. Both played and were exceptional hockey players. Spent college at Bowling Green State University.
