(Redirected from Mexitl) In Aztec mythology, 'Mextli' (also 'Mexitl' or 'Tecciztecatl') was a god of war and storms and was born fully armed as a warrior. He accepted hundreds of sacrifices annually. His name is thought by many to be the source of the name "Mexico".
