'Ma Yu Ching's Bucket Chicken House', located in
Kaifeng,
China, is believed to be the world's oldest
restaurant.
[1] It allegedly opened for business during the
Song Dynasty in
1153 AD.
[2] Having survived numerous wars, invasions, and dynasty changes, it still offers takeout food.
