'Liu Qi' (刘淇) (b. November 1942) is the CPC Beijing Committee Secretary, first-in-charge of Beijing, and also a member of the CPC Politburo Central Committee.
Until 2003, he was Mayor of Beijing. He was succeeded by Meng Xuenong, who was replaced by Wang Qishan after the SARS outbreak.
